For Brad. Today is our 4 year anniversary. It’s not always been easy or pretty or happy but here we are in the best place we’ve reached as a couple so for. Forever is a big word but I’m up for the challenge. 💘

Last night was a very belated date night. Brad and I went for some food and it was all relaxed and lovely and, sigh, I’m so content. Much bear love.

I’m not sure of the exact date this photo was taken, but it’s been three years this month since it occurred. Brad and I had been in Tiny Flat for just over a month, it was snowy outside and it was a new start as well as a new year. As often happens even now, we got a bit silly and drew on our faces, having a giggle and I dug out my Mickey Mouse ears. We walked from Tiny Flat to McDonald’s at 2am and sat underneath the drive-through window eating our food and talking and laughing. The staff gave us a Star Wars balloon and we walked home, to our little bit of space, snuggled down and talked the rest of the night away. It’s weird how small events stick in our minds but I’ll never forget that night. And much as I get in a tizz with Brad sometimes it’s always worth remembering the things that made us and that keep us together. In April we’ll be celebrating our fourth anniversary. Hopefully there’ll be four after that, then four more and another four and so on. I am a lucky girl. xo
